Room for all: Alternative school creates space for necessities
BLOOMINGTON - At the Regional Alternative School, when students need to do research, they visit the media center. If they need to chat, they head to a counselor's office. When they need a winter coat or pair of shoes, they walk into the community resource room.
Foundation to award record amount of grants
BLOOMINGTON - Illinois Prairie Community Foundation will award its largest amount of grant money this year following a successful annual campaign and growth in the foundation's endowments. The foundation will award $200,000 in grants, including funds that already have been awarded.
